Mortar testing.
We can collect fresh mortar samples from site to be moulded back at the laboratory, these will then be cured in the correct manor prior to testing, generally a test sample will consist of three 160 x 40 x 40mm prisms and we will conduct flexural tests on two prisms at 28 days and compressive tests on these same samples, One of the prisms is retained just in case an anomaly is detected and the sample is needed for further in depth investigation.
These fresh mortar samples can be further tested for air content, flow and setting time.
